| 摘 要： | 为掌握河南省体育人口事实,推动河南省体育事业的发展,运用新的阶层理论,通过文献资料法、问卷调查法和数理统计法等方法,对河南省各阶层体育人口的性别特征、体育消费特征、参加体育运动的项目特征、参加体育运动的时间特征、空间特征进行了认真分析,对正确掌握河南省体育人口事实,大力推进全民健身的进程,促进精神文明和物质文明建设有着重要的意义．结果表明：河南省体育人口低于国外发达国家和国内经济发达省份;男女人口性别比高于中国现阶段总人口性别比;各阶层体育人口分布不均,主要集中在第十阶层和第二阶层;各阶层的体育人口的性别比与其职业特点密不可分;体育消费、参加运动的项目、时间空间特点除了与其职业有关外,还受其经济条件的制约．
