太原市西山地区开山取石停采面植被恢复的试验

利用边试验、边推广的方法，通过人工造林的方式，对停采多年的开山破坏面进行植被恢复，树种以侧柏、油松为主，臭椿为辅，苗木宜采用带土胎的移植苗，实行水平阶式整地，乔灌草相结合的种植方法，辅以浇水措施，约需10年，植被覆盖率可达到60％以上。

Experiment on Vegetation- recovering in Used Stone Pits in West Mountain Area

This paper introduces the experiments on vegetation-re covering in some west mountain areas that are once used as stone pits. To make the experiment wh ile to popularizes its approaches and to recover vegetation in the used stone pi ts by the means of artificial afforestation, it is stressed the trees of orienta l arborvitate and Chinese should be mainly greatly used and the tree of heaven is used supplementarily, and the nursery stock with soil on it should be used a s planting tree and should be planted along tableland. While planting the trees, glass should be planted at the same time and watering measures must be taken. T he experiment shows that 10 a to recover the ratio of vegetation recovery can re ach 60 %.
