论民族院校贫困生助学贷款工作

国家助学贷款是党中央、国务院在社会主义市场经济条件下，为实施科教兴国战略、加速人才培养、帮助经济困难学生顺利完成学业而采取的一项重大措施。民族院校的学生大部分来自边远少数民族地区。贫困程度深，贫困面大，所需助学贷款多。如何使民族院校贫困生正确认识国家助学贷款，使其从心理上平和地接受助学贷款并利用该款项来支付学费、生活费和住宿费，是每一个学生管理工作者应当具备的一种能力。

The Importance of Providing a Loan to the Needed Students in Colleges for Nationalities

Providing loans to the needed students is an important measure conducted by the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and State Department in the condition of socialist marketing economy to fasten talents fostering and help those students who are in financial need to complete their higher education courses smoothly. Most of the students of colleges and universities for nationalities are from remote ethnic areas. Compared with those of other colleges and universities, they are much poorer and would take a large proportion. Therefore there must be a larger quantum of students need to be provided with the loan. How to make the needed students recognize the loan, how to let them accept the loan and make full use of it for their tuition, their daily life and renting expenditure should be the common responsibility for all the staff who are in charge of the students affairs.
