| Abstract: | As one of the theoretical ramifications of pragmatics, the theory of the discourse role switching has received much attention in recent years. This paper tries to apply this theory to the analysis of the personalities, the conflicts between the characters, and plot development in the drama Sunrise, thus suggests a new perspective of interpreting drama. |
