Strong personality consciousness is showed in Qu Yuan's poems.In this essay,the cultural source and background of Qu Yuan's personality consciousness are regarded as an important problem to discuss: Qu Yuan lived in middle-later period of Zhanguo when the cultural interflow of south and north was frepuent.His personality consciousness is concerned with the cultural interflow of south and north in which many of his consciousness including selfexpression,independence and history had formed.His personality consciousness is also effected by the spirit of intellectuals of Zhanguo period and his conception to origin,family,and patriarchal clan.
