评新儒学“第四次浪潮”

进入21世纪以来,复兴传统文化的势头可谓之儒学的"第四次浪潮".儒家思想两千多年来大起大落、人们对其经典产生了多种解读模式;20世纪前期所谓的儒学"第三次浪潮"与"第四次浪潮"的根本区别,即在于儒学与现代性的关系上.为使儒学能够顺应时代、有效回应文化挑战和进行开放性对话与创新,应当超越专断的解构,还原儒学的真实语义,以此匡正盲点和误区.

A Review of the Fourth Tide of the New Confucian Studies

In the 21~(st) century,the dynamic revival of traditional culture can be labelled "The Fourth Tide" of the Confucian Studies. Throughout the history of more than two thousand years,Confucian thoughts have developed in risings and falls,which inferably have brought about different understandings.However,the key difference between the Third Tide before the 20~(th) century and the Fourth Tide lies in the relationship between Confucianism and modernity.In line with the cultural challenges,Confucian studies definitely needs to focus on the rehabiliatation of transcend any arbitrary deconstructions of Confucianism by transcending itself through open dialogue and innovation.
