| Abstract: | The immunity effect of seed-oil from hippophae rhamnoides on the mouseis investigated both on nonspecific cellular immunity and humoral immunity. According to the results of phagocytosis test and plaque forming cell test,both the phagocytosis activity of macrophages from the fluid of abdominalCavities and the quantity of plaque forming cells of spleen are restrainedby cyclophosphamide.This shows that certain dosages of the seed-oilcan remarkably increase the immune functions on mice.It is suggestedthat Hippophae rhamnoides seed-oil be an effective immunopotentiator. |
