| Abstract: | This was the speech at the course in training chief-editors and editors sponsored by China Editology Society of Science Periodicals, the important role of the academic and research papers in the scientific and technological research was discussed, some problems in the present development of the science-periodicals in China were stated, and it is stressed that the editors of the science periodicals should bear the historical responsibility for scientific and technological innovation. |
