In consideration of the situation, in this paper the technical and economic comparisons of cartridge collector and askant prolate pocket collector are given in five aspects, involving filtering principle dust removing efficiency and resistance, figures, price and total costs, running and maintenance. Through engineering practise the cartridge collectors have unmatchable superiority.
