摘    要:基于多无线模块的切换方法有望实现快速的AP间切换,但是缺乏具体的实验论证,特别是切换过程中该方法对网络吞吐量的影响。为此,本文建立了快速AP间切换实验床,并对该方法的切换延迟和切换过程中的网络吞吐量进行了详细的实验研究与分析。实验结果表明,该方法在执行AP间切换时的网络延迟不超过10毫秒,并且对端到端吞吐量几乎没有任何影响,从实验上论证了该方法可以实现快速的AP间切换。

Abstract:The experimental study is urgent for the multi-radio based handoff approach, which has the potential to realize the rapid inter-AP handoff, especially for the influence on the throughput during the handoff process. Hence an inter-AP handoff test-bed is built up and serials of experiments are carried out with it. Experimental results show that this handoff approach can decrease the handoff latency less than 10 ms, and almost can ignore the negative influence on the throughput during the handoff process.
