Abstract:Lead antimony-manganese zirconate titanate (PMSZT) ternary piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by solid-solution processing, and the effects of different sintering temperature on the microstruc-ture and piezoelectric properties were investigated. The experimental results indicate that pure perovskite structure was obtained in the sintefing temperature range. With the increasing of the sintering tempera-ture, phases shift from tetragonal phase to rhombohedral phase, and the mechanical quality factor Q_m, re-duce. Dielectric constant ε,, electromeehanical coupling factor K_p and piezoelectric constant d_33 increase with the increasing of the sintering temperature and then decrease, whereas, dielectric loss tanδ decrease and then increase. The ceramics sintered at 1 200℃have the optimized properties of Q_m = 1 500,ε, =1 866, K_p =0.56, d_33 =326 and tanδ=0.4%.
