Study on LC Degradation Mechanism of ZnO Varistors

LC(linear chain)mechanism is put forward for studying degradation of ZnO varistors. LC mechanism suggests that at the begining of the degradation ion migration' lower the barrier height,and that when the barrier height decreases to some extent, VC(varistor chain) change to LC. LC has linear V-A characteristic, is stable, and can't be transformed to VC reversibily. So the properties of ZnO varistors after degradation to some extent can't recover.
