| Abstract: | Urbanization is a breakthrough and a necessary measure in the development of wes tern regions. Tourism can accelerate the urbanization as a new motive force. Th is article analyzes the possibilities of tourism to prompt the urbanization in t he west. Meanwhile on the basis of classifying the western cities in terms of c ity GDP standard and tourism developing stage, it puts forward the proposals on the dynamic prompting of tourism to the urbanization in the west. |
