摘    要:基于放电通道的波动特性,并考虑放电通道中等离子体的双极扩散效应,对电火花加工机理进行了研究。指出放电通道的波动可以分解成纵波和横波2个分量,并分别进行了短、长脉冲加工时横波和纵波对材料蚀除的不同影响,提出放电通道位形和位形平衡的概念。根据计算机仿真实验,得出了短、长脉冲加工时瞬时放电通道半径、放电通道位形半径以及最终放电痕半径三者之间的关系。对材料的抛出机理作出了和实际加工相符合的解释。

Abstract:Based on the wave characteristics of plasma channel and with the consideration of diffusion effects of plasma, this paper focuses attention on the research of the electrical discharge machining(EDM) mechanism. It is pointed out that the wave of plasma channel can be decomposed into transversal and longitudinal wave, and different effects of the wave on the material removal in different pulse width are analyzed. The conception of plasma channel configuration and its balance are put forward. On the basis of computer simulation, the relationship among plasma channel, plasma configuration and the final crater are clarified. The paper gave a proper explanation on how material is machined which satisfies the practical machining.
