| 摘 要： | Jude is a final victor in spirit.Jude's leaving Arabella,a conventional—orientation representive and then following Sue's unconventional pursuit are greatly valued in Hardy's novel—Jude the Obscure.Furthermore,Jude's constancy in unconventional belief is valuable,contrasting with Sue's final regression to convention.Compared with Arabella and Jude's spiritual quality,Jude proves a victor.
