| Abstract: | Summary Laboratory observations on pupae ofCeratitis capitata showed that most adult emergence took place in the morning between 06.00 and 09.00 h. Pupae succeeded to emerge when covered with sand up to a depth of 30 cm. It was not possible to differentiate between sexes by pupal weight. |
