| 摘 要： | 凯蒂本来是一个有着许多美好品质的南方少女,最后却由反叛传统走向了堕落和沉沦。在凯蒂这个人物的悲剧中,表现出了南方贵族的没落,表现出了南方文化特别是清教妇道观对妇女的摧残。凯蒂形象具有独特的文化意义。

| Abstract: | Actually Katy was a southern young girl with a lot of fine character,but at the end she broke up from a person who revolts of tradition to a degenerate person.It demonstrated the decline of downhouse noble among the tragedy of Katy.It revealed women's suffering of poison and wreck being from southern culture especially Puritanism's woman moral concept.The image of Katy has a unique cultural meaning. |
