This paper expounds the functions and types of university library＇ s promotional video, makes the survey and statistics of promotional video produced by domestic and foreign university libraries, and after watching the promotional video produced by domestic and foreign university libraries and determining the analytical sample data, conducts a comparative analysis on promotional video produced by domestic and foreign university libraries from aspects of the length, expression form, thematic content, picture, and background music, etc. of the promotional video, and points out some enlightenments of foreign promotional video on the production of domestic promotional video.
