This paper expounds the background and development status of intellectual asset management, analyzes the significance of subject librarians＇ service based on intellectual asset management, points out that should introduce the idea of intellectual asset management into library＇ s subject service and regard the subject librarians and collection resources as intellectual assets, and probes into the modes and paths of implementing the intellectual asset management in subject service.
