| Abstract: | Summary The influence of biguanides on glucoseoxidation was studied in intima-preparations of rabbit aortae. With high doses (500 µg/ml) an inhibition of CO2-formation predominantly from position C-1 of glucose was found. With 4 µg/ml there was no significant change of CO2-for-mation from glucose. |
