| 摘 要： | 区域协调发展是构建和谐社会的一项重大课题。东西部地区在实现小康社会的程度上有一定差距,从深层次看,是西部工业化、农业产业化、市场化水平较低造成的。要加快西部实现全面小康社会,促进区域协调发展,必须发展以小城镇为重点的城镇化。

| Abstract: | Narrowing the income gap between the East and the West is vital in the construction of a harmonious China.The comparatively low level of the industrialization of the West,its poor farming industry and its low market mechanism is the deep root of the poverty of the West.Focus should therefore be set on cultivating more small cities and towns in the West. |
