家鸽(Columba Livia domesticus)松果体的超微结构观察

本文对家鸽松果体的形态结构进行了光镜和电镜的研究,发现家鸽的松果体包括松果体和茎两部分,主要由类光接受细胞、支持细胞,血管和神经纤维构成,是一种典型的管泡结构。类光接受细胞顶端仍有接受光刺激的外节;实质细胞和神经终末内含有大量直径为40—100nm的膜包分泌颗粒及走行在分泌颗粒之间的微丝束;神经终末和细胞突起相伴分布在血管附近等。反映出家鸽的松果体是腺性器官。也有一定的感光能力。

OBSERVATION OF ULTRASTRUCTURAL STRUCTURE OF PINEAL BODY IN PIGEON (COWMBA LIVIA DOMESTICUS)

This paper has studied the morphological structures of the pineal body in pigeon by means of light and electronic microscopes. It was found that the pineal body including the pineal body proper and its stalk, is composed of photoreceptive -like cells, supportive cells, blood vessels and neural fibers. It was a tubulofollicular structure with some typical features: degenerative outer segment located at the top of the photoreceptive -like cell; many secretory granules, approximately 40-100 nm in diameter, surrounded by a layer of membrane; bundles of microfilaments running among the secretory granules; the nerve terminals accompanied by cytological protrusions distributed near the blood vessels. It is suggested that the pineal body of pigeon is both a glandular organ and a photosensory organ.
