New Tools Employed for Investigating Colloid and Interfacial Chemistry: Second Order Nonlinear Optical Techniques

In this paper, we present an introduction to the theory of second order nonlinear optics. On the basis of the molecular level, the second order nonlinear optical technique was applied into colloid and interfacial chemistry. Also, we briefly outlined the progresses in the fields of colloid and interfacial chemistry with second order nonlinear optical techniques.
