| Abstract: | The analytic formulas of propagation constants of axisymmetric modes in a Kerr law nonlinear graded index optical fiber are derived.It is shown that in nonlinear graded index optical fiber the power has a great effect on the propagation constants and on the propagation constant of the fundamental mode.The formulas can be reduced to the known linear results. |
