| Abstract: | The present paper deals with the properties of cured epoxy resin retarded with brominat-ed cotton seed oil. It shows excellent flame-retardation, favourable toughenation, better heat endurance and smoke suppression. The studied methods contain limiting oxygen index,thermo-analysis (Dsc and TGA),scanning electron microscope,heat-mechanical curve and mechanical properties determination. |
