THE URBAN HEAT ISLAND AND THE HEAT BALANCE

Oke has explained the urban heat island by employing the heat balance equation which neglected the functions of the vegetational photoenergy massing and dissolving in the urban heat island formation. The pater not only considers that the green vegetatic can transform the photoenergy into the potential energy which will be transformed into the thermal energy by burning dry materials in city, but also thinks that the transform process is one of the important reasons to form urban heat island.
