Atmosphere protection in the local development of Yangtze River Delta

The air pollution of the Yangtze River Delta is mainly of the coal smoke type with the petroleum type as the minors,among which the smoke dust and sour rain cause the greatest disaster. The pollution increases with the economic growth, thus raising the local developmental expenditure. The control of the environmental pollution should have a definite aim and emphasis, such as the rational arrangement of the energy structure, the promotion of effective utilization of resources, the betterment of the industrial layout, the progress of technology, the strengthening of the ecological environment,etc.
