Abstract:A model for the representation of real-time transactions is presented.A real-time trans-action is divided logically into a mandatory transaction and an optional transaction. An im-proved algorithm UED for scheduling real-time transactions based on the ED method is giv-en. Algorithm UED is capable of adjusting the executing time of transactions during systemoverload so that the mandatory transaction can be accomplished within the deadline. Com-pared with the ED method,the algorithm proposed can reduce the runtime error whilescheduling.
