新型AWG的数值模拟研究

摘    要:提出了一种新型的用作解复用器的阵列波导光栅(AWG),采用自聚焦平板波导和普通的透镜作为输入和输出平板波导,用圆柱形阵列波导代替以前的方形波导。对整个器件进行了理论分析和数值仿真,并对器件的结构进行了优化,验证了设计的可行性。

Abstract:A novel AWG used for demultiplexer was proposed. A graded index planar waveguide and a common lens were used for input and output planar waveguide respectively, and the quadrate arrayed waveguide was replaced by cylindrical waveguide in it. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation showed that this device and the design was feasible. The design of the device was also optimized.
