From the perspective of appropriate technology, this paper compares and analyzes the economic thickness and appropriate thickness of exterior wall thermal insulation materials with the highest energy-saving rate of residential envelope structure, obtains the relationship curve and model between economic thickness and appropriate thickness of thermal insulation materials. It provides a reference basis for the optimal design of building energy-saving exterior wall, and inspires architectural designers to comprehensively consider building energy-saving problems from the perspectives of economy and environment, so as to obtain the optimal and most environment-friendly energy-saving design method.
