| Abstract: | The presentation of the concept of grammatical metaphor extends the concept of metaphor from traditional rhetorical level to the grammatical level. It helps explain some language phenomena. The paper mainly discusses the discourse cohesive function of grammatical metaphor and its application in English teaching. |
