| Abstract: | This paper presents the design of ENITDB, an engineering data base management system, for CAD applications, and introduces the techniques for the realization of the ideas embedded in the design. ENITDB is established on the relational data base management system NITDB. A language ESQL with data definition and data manipulation functions is provided in ENITDB system. The language not only have various data types often used in engineering data base, but also can describe the structures of engineering objects. |
