Elegant Poems Are to Be Passed to Later Generations

In the Tang Dynasty in ancient China, there lived a group of talented royal poetesses, who could rival their contemporary poets. Among those poetesses, the remarkable ones were SHANGGUAN Wan'er (the leading poetess between the early and the prosperous periods of Tang Dynasty), the five SHANGGONG Song sisters (famous for their knowledge and talent), and Bao Jun-hui (as famous as the "five Song sisters"). They were all women and royal poets, so they should have aroused the attention of the researchers who study poems of Tang Dynasty.
