中韩虎文化渊源考论

中国和韩国在虎图腾、虎崇拜方面有着共同的特征和文化渊源。在中国,虎在动物文化中的地位仅次于龙排第二,而韩国动物文化中虎占据着更重要的地位。中韩民间故事中老虎均扮演了仁义、义理、友情的形象,韩国民间传说中老虎更是孝义的化身。中国绘画艺术中,多表现老虎的威猛、英勇的一面,而韩国的绘画展示更多的是老虎仁义、报恩的一面。中韩应加强动物文化尤其是虎文化交流,加大弘扬传统虎文化的力度,发挥其在教化人心,扬善惩恶以及净化社会风气方面的作用。

Origin of Chinese and South Korean Tiger Culture

China and South Korea have the common characteristics and the cultural origin on tiger totem and tiger worship. In China, tiger gets the second place in animal culture status, but it occupies a more important status in Korea. It acts as the symbol of justice and humanity, righteousness principle and friendship in Chinese and Korean folk tales. It is also an embodiment of filial piety in some South Korean folktales. Chinese drawing displays tiger＇s overwhelming power and heroic characters, but Korean drawing prefers to demonstrate tiger＇s justice and humanity, and it shows that tiger knows how to pay a debt of gratitude. The China and Korea should strengthen the communication on animal culture, especially tiger culture. Both countries should try to advance and enrich the traditional tiger culture and let tiger plays an important role in educating people and building a perfect society.
