摘    要:本文首先在国内外相关文献的研究基础上,讨论了元认知的内涵;然后,论述了英语阅读理解水平与元认知能力的关系;最后,针对如何培养大学生的元认知能力,提出了四点建议。

Abstract:Based on the relevant research home and abroad,this paper discusses the very connotation of metacognition;then the paper probes into the relationship between the comprehensive level of English reading and the metacognitive ability.Finally,four suggestions are brought forward in this paper to the teachers in teaching English reading as to how to foster the metacognition ability of the college students.
