Pondering on the National Citizens'''' Quality by Dr SunYat-sen Before the 1911 Revolution

Before the 1911 revolution,Sun thought deeply about the national citizens' quality from many different view-points.Sun thought that the national citizens'poor quality was one of the important factors of Chinese weakness and poverty.Qing Dynasty carried out reactionary political rule and fooling-people policy.In his opinion,bourgeois democratic revolution would depend on the political quality of the most people.Sun designed some specific ways which would be used to cultivate people's ability to participate in political activities,probed into methods to improve national citizens'quality.He emphasized the important status of people's modernization in the whole process of modernization.
