试论把握好译文发挥的"度"

忠实于原作是翻译的基本原则，译者应努力再现原作者的创作个性，而不应在主观上企图表现自己的个性。在保持原作风貌的大前提下，充分发挥译入语在表现形式上的种种长处，以求译文顺畅，这是翻译实践的可取途径。

On Proper Limit of Creative Work in Translation

Being true to the original is the basic principle of translation.Instead of trying intentionally to show his or her own individual character,a translator should make efforts to reproduce the individual character of the author of the original.In sticking to the prerequisite of retaining the style and features of the original,it is an advisable approach of the translating practice to bring into full play the strong points in depicting form of the language into which the original is to be translated so to ensure the smoothness of the translation.,;
