On Dong Xiujia's Thought of Municipal Administration and its Characteristics

Since modern times, it's the needs of the development of the times that establish the new type of the system of municipal administration. In this essay, I try to set forth the thought of municipal administration of Dong Xiujia who was known as a expert of municipal administration in this reform movement and analyze its characteristics of the times that marked that the Chinese intellectuals in the 1920s studied toward the west reached a new altitude.
