| Abstract: | The formula of 3D degenerated cylindrical shell strip with curved section is derived,which overcomes the shortcomings that current strips can not easily deal with curved section.When plates and shells become very thin,the numerical behaviour of the strip is investigated,which includes shear lock,singularity of shear stiffness matrix and spurious zero energy modes due to applicatoon of reduced integration.A numerical example is geven. |
