| 摘 要： | Huntington＇s disease （HD） is an autosomal dominant neurodegenerative disorder afflicting at least 1 ： 100000 people world-wide. It is caused by an expanded polyglutamine-encoding repeat in the gene hun- tingtin （HTT） that leads to the accumulation of the mutant HTT protein （mHTT）. It has been well es- tablished that the gain of toxic mHTT function is the main cause of the disease and thus reducing mHTT levels may suppress all downstream toxic effects and treat the disease.
