| 摘 要： | This article reviews the concepts and theories of Anne Beaufort＇s social apprenticeship model for gaining writing expertise. The imprtance of application of situated learning in English teaching is revealed and caffully discussed. It also points out the unefficent diseription about the model application in school settings.
