| Abstract: | This paper summarizes the effects of various factors on immature embryo culture, inner structure and biochemical metabolism of callus as well as the recent progresses of wheat immature embryo culture in the field of distant hybridization and stress resistance breeding. The paper also summarizes recent advances in gene transformation of wheat mediated by agrobacterium tumefaciens. |
