| Abstract: | The rheological behaviour of molten polyester specimens was studied using a capillary rheometer and a Brabender torque rheometer. The results show that the viscosity of the melt is remarkably influenced by temperature and shear rate. The influence of the viscosity characteristics on some of the processing parameters is also discussed. |
