光波偏振态的静态测量研究

摘    要:通过测量目标辐射或反射、散射的光波偏振态,能够在基于强度、光谱等目标探测的基础上利用偏振信息提高目标识别概率,因此已经开发出很多关于光波偏振态的测量系统。针对传统的光波偏振态测量系统难以应对光波偏振态快速稳定测量的挑战,利用铌酸锂晶体作为相位延迟器,利用其电光调制特性,通过加载四个不同的外加电压实现对待测光波的相位调制,从而对应探测器上获得不同的光强值,通过相关数据处理可计算出待测光波的斯托克斯参数,并以此表示待测光波的偏振态,该方案具有静态测量、响应速度高的特点。光波偏振态实验测量结果表明,待测光波斯托克斯参数的偏差不超过±3%,能够比较准确地反映表示被测光波偏振态的斯托克斯参数,证明了方案的可行性。

Abstract:The polarization information of light emitted and reflected or scattered from targets can be used to improve the possibility of target detecting, which is a kind of information besides intensity and spectrum of targets. So many ways to measure the polarization state of light have been developed. But traditional systems for measuring light polarization state meet challenge in stability and velocity. A new method was proposed in this paper that LiNBO3 is applied as phase retarder instead of wave plate. The transversal electro-optical effect is used in this experiment, four different voltages were loaded on LiNBO3 crystal, and the four related phase difference was obtained. So four different values are shown on detector, from which the Stocks parameters of detected light can be obtain. And the Stocks parameters are used to express the polarization state of detected light. Experiments proved the feasibility of this proposal. And the error of Stocks parameters was less than ±3%.
