Abstract: | Summary Sera from partially hepatectomized rats (PH) compared to sera from control rats (C) enhance liver slice DNA synthesis but depress kidney slice DNA synthesis. Alone, liver extracts from PH do not affect DNA synthesis; but adding sera to PH extracts stimulates, suggesting that sera and liver factors from PH may participate in compensatory growth.Acknowlegments.
