| Abstract: | The general formula for calculating the work of Ampere's force is derived according to the Ampere's law and the Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. Two important deductions, are useful for calculating the total force and the moment of force about a given axis that the magnetic field acts on the current-carrying coils, are obtained from the derived formula. |
