阶梯函数逼近的思想方法和在逼近论中的重要应用

摘    要:论述了阶梯函数逼近的思想方法,并将其应用到下述几个方面:(1)用阶梯函数逼近连续函数;(2)Weierstrass定理的初等证明;(3)用有理函数逼近有界变差函数;(4)Markov系统中的多项式逼近问题。
