Some Improvements on the Lapping Device of Vertical Grinding Machine

This paper discusses the necessity of improving lapping device of vertical grinding machine.Accordingly,an improved design for some important parts in the device,based on some relevant theories,is made in details.It includes the structural designing of the lap layer,the length rate of the lap canister,the setting of bottom stopple and the spinning speed of the main shaft.The lab statistics of the improved device show that it is efficient and typically,energy saving.Also,it is fine in shape,light in weight and easy for maintenance,all of which help to make it a good substitute for the same kinds of products available in market.
