走向社会：高校校报的出路

高校校报虽然解决了国内统一刊号问题，但其发展仍面临着诸多困境：学校领导重视不够，办报环境较差；不能经营广告，进入社会有障碍；学生记者素质较差。让校报走向社会，主动适应社会主义市场经济新环境，参与行业平等竞争，扩大校报社会信息量，提高校报质量，是高校校报走出困境的真正出路。

Open to the society-the way out for College Newspapers

College newspapers, although having been granted the right to publish publicly, still face difficulties that hinder their growth, for instance, poor conditions for running nwespapers resulting from scant attentions from college authorities, low quality of student reporters, no chance of entering the outside world because of the prohibition on devoting space to advertisements,to name only a few. For college newspapers to rise out of difficulties and enjoy a new era of development, steps must be taken. In the author's opinion, getting college newspapers open to the society by containing in them information from both inside and outside the campus, so that they can participate in fair business competition and become adapted to the market economy situation.
