| Abstract: | Summary The observed extension of glomerulo-tubular balance beyond the proximal tubule is thought to be due either to flow dependent reabsorption by non-accessible proximal segments and pars recta, or to osmotic volume flow out of the descending limb of the loop of Henle. |
